Pacers – Wizz Air Skopje Marathon 2026
Wizz Air Skopje Marathon 2026 (October 4th) is opening the call for pacers for the marathon race. Pacers play a key role in the event – helping runners maintain a steady pace and achieve their target finish time.
Pacer teams will be formed for target times from 3:00 to 5:30 hours, every 15 minutes. Each time group will have at least two pacers (and where possible, three). Pacers will run with time balloons and in special pacer shirts. As one lap is 21 km, pacers will also support half marathon runners.
We are looking for experienced, reliable and motivated runners who enjoy teamwork, can communicate with the group, and are able to keep a steady and controlled pace while creating a positive atmosphere during the race.

All selected pacers will receive detailed instructions and will take part in an online briefing, as well as an on-site briefing before race day, led by the head pacer, the experienced pacer from Spain, Jaime Gutiérrez.
Applications are open until April 30, 2026, or until all positions are filled.
