Wizz Air Skopje Marathon 2021 will be held on October 2nd and 3rd for which the registration of participants officially begins today, June 29th 2021, at 10:00 am, and will be open until September 15th 2021, i.e. until the planned number of participants is reached.
This year, October 2nd will be reserved for the 5 km race which starts at 17:00h, while on Sunday, October 3rd at 8:00h in the morning, the marathon, half marathon and relay marathon – EU for sport, will be held.
All runners, who due to the pandemic, transferred their applications for marathon and half marathon from 2020 to 2021, will get a registration code by e-mail in the upcoming period, and they can use the free registration fee for this year’s event. If someone is again prevented from participating this year, he/she will be able to use this right for the 2022 marathon with the same registration code.
Those participants who were registered for the 5KM race in 2020, which was cancelled will be automatically transferred to this year’s race, keeping the same bib number they have received and will get an email confirmation in the upcoming period.
The race will be organized according to safety protocols and recommendations set forth by the Government and the Commission for Infectious Diseases, in order to protect the participants and organizers.
